Activity 2: Narrate the Poem

• After reading or listening to the poem, narrate the poem events aloud using your own words.

Activity 4: Act Out the Poem

• Make up your own story.
• Sit in a circle and each person tell their story.

Activity 5: Create Novel Artwork Based on the Poem

• One day this week, create drawings to go with your story. If you wish, staple a few pages together to make a book.
• Use paints, crayons, or pastels to create the artwork.
